Course Description

Our Texas License To Carry class (LTC) covers all required curriculum required by the State. Successful completion requires attendance, along with passing both the written test and firearms proficiency (shooting test). LTC classes are required to be 4 to 6 hours in duration. A shorter class may be tempting for some, but stakes are too high to merely check the box of attending a class. We use 6 hours to present a more contextually developed program.

Teaching methods adapted from decades of providing Law Enforcement and Citizen training has resulted in a highly interactive approach which better prepares students to apply the material more confidently during stressful situations.

Safety Policy

Conditioning safe shooters is a mission we take very seriously. Safety is important during training to avoid accidents, but safe weapons handling must be conditioned for it become habitual under stress. Each class or lesson begins with a safety brief to establish expectations and consequences for unsafe behavior. Minor violations are common in the beginning and will be remediated. Major violations can result in termination of training or removal from group classes.
